Care that meets you where you are.
Rooted in evidence. Guided by compassion. Focused on what actually helps.
Why we exist
So many women have spent years surviving. Surviving difficult relationships. Surviving anxiety. Surviving trauma. Surviving burnout. Surviving impossible expectations.
Eventually, survival becomes exhausting.
We believe women deserve more than simply getting through each day. They deserve to feel connected to themselves, their relationships, and their lives.
Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about reconnecting with who you have always been beneath the stress, pain, and survival strategies that once helped you cope.
Who we are
The Dandelion Space was created to be more than a psychotherapy practice. It is a place where women feel seen beyond their symptoms, diagnoses, or life circumstances, and are met with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
Our role is not to “fix” people. Our role is to create the conditions where healing, self-understanding, and lasting change can take root.
Why a dandelion?
Most people see dandelions as weeds- something to be eliminated, managed, or kept under control.
But dandelions are one of the most resilient plants on earth. They grow through cracks in concrete. They survive conditions that would kill almost anything else. And when they bloom, they nourish the ecosystem around them.
What many overlook is that they also heal. Every part of the dandelion from its roots to its flowers; contains vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds that have been used in traditional medicine for generations to support the body, including the liver, digestion, and the body's natural ability to manage inflammation. What is often dismissed as a weed is, in reality, a source of nourishment, resilience, and renewal.
That's why the dandelion is at the heart of our philosophy. Like people, its value isn't determined by first impressions or by how others label it. Given the opportunity, it can take root in difficult places, transform adversity into strength, and create healing- not only for itself, but for everything around it.
We work with women who have been surviving in hard conditions for a long time. People who are stronger than they know and who are ready to stop just surviving and start blooming.
And like dandelions, people can grow in places where we once thought they could not. Sometimes all they need is the right conditions to bloom.
What we believe about healing
Therapy isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about understanding what's happening, building capacity to feel it, and choosing what comes next.
We work from a relational, attachment-informed perspective, which means we believe the therapeutic relationship itself is healing. We're not blank slates.
We're real people, in the room with you, genuinely invested in your growth.
We also believe you are the expert on your own life. Our job is to help you access what you already know and build what you don't yet have.
Who we work with
Women in every life stage
Neurodivergent women, including women with ADHD
Mothers, caregivers, and women navigating pregnancy and postpartum
Women healing from trauma, grief, or burnout
Women who are tired of surviving and ready for something to change
What we believe
Healing is relational.
People are more than their diagnoses.
Trauma deserves compassion, not judgment.
Evidence and humanity belong together.
Growth happens when people feel safe enough to be authentic.
Community strengthens healing.
Where The Dandelion Space is headed
Psychotherapy will always be at the heart of what we do. But I believe healing happens in community, and lasting wellbeing is rarely created by one person working alone.
Over time, The Dandelion Space will grow into a collaborative space of professionals who support women as whole human beings, through education, workshops, support groups, and body-based care. Naturopathic medicine, physiotherapy, and osteopathy are coming soon.
You don't need to be in crisis to begin.
You just need to be ready for something to change. I'd love to be part of that.
